The expacio areas have excellent connectivity which allows maximum efficiency for transport of goods, in fact, expacionavalmoral and expaciomérida connect, from their own territory unit, with the four inter-modal transport systems.
The expacio areas have direct connection to Extremadura motorway (Nacional V or E 90) which joins Madrid and Lisbon, and to the Vía de la Plata (Nacional 630 or E 803) which connects the North with the South of the country.
Extremadura has a regional airport in Badajoz, with daily flights to international airports from Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao all through the year. During the summer season there are also direct flights from Badajoz to Paris, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca.
"expacionavalmoral" and "expaciomérida" are found on the Madrid-Lisbon AVE route. This will be a shared line for transport of passengers and goods.
It will shorten the travelling time from Badajoz to Madrid in, approximately, 1 hour. It will also reduce the travelling time from Badajoz to Lisbon.
